Country singer Daryle Singletary dies at 46 years old

Country singer Daryle Singletary has passed away at age 46.

Singletary had performed onstage in Louisiana less than 48 hours before his death. Video footage shows him entertaining the crowd at the Cowboys Nightclub Saturday night. He died on Monday.

The artist had a number of Top 40 hits over the years, including "I Let Her Lie" and "Amen Kind of Love," which hit No. 2 in 1995 and 1996, respectively.

Singletary's road manager confirmed the news but not the cause of death. However, Taste of Country has reported that it was a blood clot.

Singletary leaves behind his wife, Holly, and four children, according to reports.
