The original American Idol Kelly Clarkson has been, alongside Carrie Underwood, the most successful reality show winner of them all. Selling over 23 million albums worldwide, the two-time Grammy Award winner has been able to carve out a career for herself post-Idol by breaking out of the bubblegum pop mould the producer's initially put her in and carving out a proper place on the pop-rock charts. Clarkson hasn't completely shed her reality show roots, though, appearing on The Voice last season as a mentor and now on the new show Duets as one of the show's main judges.
