I/O Debuts 'Isolation' Mixtape, Delivers Progressive R&B
New York-based songwriter and producer I/O, also known as Ayo Olatunji, has released his first official mixtape, Isolation.
Isolation is blissed out and pulsating with rhythm and emotion, delivering a delicate perspective on R&B with I/O's unusually strong songwriting. The lead single from the project, "Strangers," is produced by acclaimed violinist and producer Jordan Ware, who also crafted "We'll Always Be."
I/O is the grandson of Grammy award-winning Nigerian drummer Babatunde Olatunji, so it is no surprise that his music is rhythmically innovative.
