Stevie Wonder and his wife, fashion designer Kai Millard Morris, are officially ending their marriage. After 11 years together, the soul crooner has filed for divorce.
TMZ reports that Wonder, born Stevland Morris, and Kai have been separated for roughly three years, since October 2009. He cites "irreconcilable differences" for their split.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2001, have two children: Kailand, 10, and Mandla, 7. Wonder is requesting joint custody of his sons. The 62-year-old has agreed to pay Kai spousal and child support.
Kai is Wonder's second wife. He was previously married to singer Syreeta Wright for two years. They divorced in 1972.
