Rihanna pulled out all the stops in the video for her new single "Where Have You Been," collaborating with choreographer Nadine "Hi-Hat" Ruffin on the video's energetic dance moves, and rocking a tribal-themed wardrobe.

"This one is just all about performance," Rihanna said of the clip. "It's all about evoking emotion through your body. I was never going to shoot this video if I wasn't going to do choreography 'cause it would be pretty pointless. It would be disappointing."

Though several behind-the-scenes glimpses from the shoot hit the 'net prior to the video premiere, the finished visual fits the Ester Dean-penned, Calvin Harris, Dr. Luke and Cirkut-produced hit perfectly, due to the moves that coincide with every thumping bassline.

Fans may find a slight similarity between Beyonce's "Run the World (Girls)" visuals and Rihanna's "Where Have You Been." Bey is the centerpiece while a group of women surround her at the 3:55-mark of her video. She performs a steady leg movement with her body turned to the side that RiRi, dressed in a black lace get-up, also does much the same way at the 2:50-mark in her visual.
