Lil Wayne made a surprise appearance in his hometown of New Orleans, Louisiana, for a performance at the 37th Bayou Classic on Saturday (Nov. 27). Wayne took the stage alongside his Young Money crew members Tyga, Lil Twist, Lil Chuckee and Lloyd for a rendition of 'Bedrock' at the Fan Fest held near the Louisiana Superdome. Moments after the crowd participated in a "welcome home" chant for Weezy, the Grammy winner also stuck around to assist Tyga on his and Chris Brown's hit single, 'Deuces.'

Since his release from prison earlier this month, the Young Money labelhead has been working on new music, which is said to be for his 'Tha Carter IV' release. Although he has yet to do an official post prison interview Wayne has been keeping up with his fans via his website, praising them for their support.

Unfortunately, the 28-year-old's release hasn't been all fun and games. Just days after getting out of prison, Wayne was sentenced to three years of probation, on drug charges stemming from a separate incident.
