A 23-year-old man has been arrested and charged with stabbing four people during a Swedish House Mafia show in Dublin, Ireland, on Saturday night, the NME reports. The four victims -- three of whom were seriously injured -- were among nine concertgoers injured, and five additional fans were apparently wounded in a fight involving knives and broken bottles.
"Ticket holders entering the site were subject to a search permissible by law," said Denis Desmond of MCD, the promotion company behind the Phoenix Park show. "Every precaution, as far as possible, was taken to ensure the safety and security of the audience at all times."
Desmond added that "there is only so much one can do to combat anti-social behaviour."
In addition to the stabbings, a man in his early 20s died of a drug overdose, the BBC reports. The violence comes weeks after Swedish House Mafia announced plans to cease touring after this final round of shows.
