Back in June 2011, Joss Stone had the scare of her life when the soul singer learned she was the target of a kidnapping and murder plot. Thankfully, the violent scheme which was thwarted by British police before it came to fruition.

The two plotters, armed with swords, rope and a body bag, were arrested outside Stone's home in Devon, England. After their arrest, notes outlining the plot were discovered in the suspects' car.

According to the BBC, Junior Bradshaw, one of two men accused of plotting to kidnap and possibly kill Stone, 25, has been sent to a psychiatric facility. The 31-year-old suspect was moved to a mental health unit for testing to determine if he is mentally fit to stand trial this August. At a previous hearing at the Exeter Crown Court, it was revealed that Bradshaw suffers from schizophrenia.

Bradshaw and 34-year-old Kevin Liverpool are charged with conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm and conspiracy to commit robbery. While Bradshaw has yet to enter a plea, Liverpool pleaded "Not guilty" back in October.
