Bruce Springsteen Aids Search for Missing Student Franco Garcia
Bruce Springsteen has joined the search to find missing Boston College student Franco Garcia.
On Wednesday, Feb. 29, Springsteen sent out a blast on his social networking sites issuing a call to arms along with a missing poster containing pertinent information.
"Help find missing Boston College student Franco Garcia," his Facebook message reads. "Franco is 21 years old, 5'9", approximately 200 lbs, and was last seen wearing a long-sleeved white and blue striped shirt with jeans on February 22, 2012, around 12:15 am at Mary Ann's Bar in Brighton, MA. Please call the Newton Police Department with any information: 617-796-2100."
Springsteen, whose son is a student at BC, also sent out a similar message via Twitter. Divers have been dispatched to the Chestnut Hill Reservoir in search of clues regarding Garcia's disappearance, and police have searched his . "It remains a missing persons case,'' said State Police spokesperson David Procopio. "There is no evidence to indicate foul play, but foul play has not been ruled out.''
