Roger Waters Marries Laurie Durning, Talks of 'Clinging to Pink Floyd Trademark'

Roger Waters married filmmaker and longtime girlfriend Laurie Durning in Southampton, New York on Jan. 14. This is the fourth wedding for the Pink Floyd icon, who became engaged to Durning in 2004.

"Well, actually, I need to bring you up to date because I just got married on Saturday to Laurie, she's gorgeous," Waters revealed to Howard Stern during an hour-long interview Jan. 18 on his SiriusXM show.

"Yeah, I couldn't be happier. We did [the pre-nup]. We've been living together for 10 years, I think we sort of know now that we like getting up together in the morning and going to bed at night."

The English musician -- whose last marriage to Priscilla Phillips ended in 2001 -- also touched on a series of topics during the interview, including the fact that he is writing a musical based on 'The Wall,' the iconic Pink Floyd album he is currently touring behind. Although he conceded, "it remains to be seen whether it will happen or not," noting "it would be an entirely different animal because obviously in a theater you have to say goodbye to the spectacle that you can produce in a ballpark."

Waters -- who confirmed that 'The Wall' tour will play New York's Yankee Stadium on July 6 with tickets on sale Jan. 30 -- also said that any notion of he and David Gilmour reuniting for a Pink Floyd tour is incorrect. Waters, Gilmour and drummer Nick Mason appeared on stage together briefly last November at London's O2 Arena during a Waters show performing 'Outside the Wall.'
