This fall, the Beach Boys released 'The SMiLE Sessions,' the closest approximation to what would have been their abandoned 1967 LP 'Smile.' That "new" record, combined with the recent announcement that the Beach Boys were reuniting for a 50th-anniversary tour, certainly made this a special holiday season for the band's fans.
