Gwen Stefani Says Solo Career Is Over, No Doubt Making New Album
Gwen Stefani has closed the door for good on her solo career and is back with her band No Doubt, she has announced.
When her ska-pop band went on hiatus, Stefani released two hugely successful solo albums, 'Love Angel Music Baby' and 'The Sweet Escape.'
Now she's revealed that she's permanently back with her band and they're working on a new album.
Talking about her solo career in this week's issue of Entertainment Weekly, she said, "That was a moment in time.
"It went on a little longer than we all thought it would, because it was inspired and you have to do with wherever you're at in that time of your life ... [But] everything works out how it should."
She is now back in the studio with cohorts guitarist Tom Dumont, bassist Tony Kanal and drummer Adrian Young working on new material.
The band's last studio album was 2001's 'Rock Steady.'
