England's blowout summer-ending festivals, Reading and Leeds, will feature the Strokes, Muse and My Chemical Romance, the National festival constants Jane's Addiction and the reunited Pulp and Death From Above 1979 as headliners, organizers announced on Monday (via Consequence of Sound).

The list of primary performers includes plenty of buzzworthy groups and indie-rock icons from the US, England and the rest of the world. Here's a sampling of the lineup: Interpol, Henry Rollins, Elbow, Beady Eye, Deftones, Death From Above 1979, the Kills, 30 Seconds to Mars, Noah and the Whale and Friendly Fires.

Most notable in the list are England's Pulp and the Canadian group Death From Above 1979, both of whom have reunited this year to play a number of high-profile gigs (in DFA1979's case, a riot-inducing set at SXSW).

Others on the list include Patrick Wolf, Crystal Castles, Warpaint, Panic! At the Disco and more. The rest of the lineup will be announced at a later date.

The event is a single, three-day festival held at two separate locations. Bands rotate locations based on the day's lineup (for instance, the Strokes headline the Reading location on Saturday and the Leeds location on Sunday).

The festival runs from August 26-28. Tickets are on sale now, via See Tickets. For the full lineup, check out either the Reading or the Leeds website.
