If ringing in the New Year with Dick Clark isn't your thing, and you're not about to weather the storm just to see a ball drop, you've still got lots of New Year's Eve options. Of course, live concerts are an extremely popular way to celebrate the countdown from one year to the next, and this year will see shows coast to coast, including concerts by the Disco Biscuits (pictured), the Avett Brothers, Drive-By Truckers, Patti Smith, Furthur, Paul Oakenfold and Little Feat among, literally, hundreds more.

Additionally, Paul McCartney's prerecorded Dec. 13 performance from the Apollo Theater in New York will air on Sirius channel 33 and XM channel 27, beginning at 9PM ET. And a prerecorded show from Eminem, featuring 50 Cent, Drake, B.o.B. and Dr. Dre will air beginning at 8PM ET on Eminem's own Sirius Shade 45 channel (and on XM channel 66).

Other channels will present other options as well -- including historic shows by Bruce Springsteen, Willie Nelson, David Bowie, Flaming Lips and Vampire Weekend -- so pour yourself a glass of champagne from your own open bar, light a fire and
