It's almost Thanksgiving which means time to start thinking about... summer festivals. One of our favorites, Sasquatch, just announced preliminary information for their 10th rendition. The indie-rock heavy hitter will, once again, take place at the incomparable Gorge Amphitheatre, in George, Washington (you read that right) during Memorial Day Weekend. And while the 2010 edition was bigger and better than ever before, the event will expand in 2011 with the addition of an entire day, making it a rare four-day event.

The complete lineup won't be disclosed until February 7, but with early-bird tickets going on sale this weekend, we've got a little teaser for you: the Foo Fighters will headline the new, additional day (Friday). After a short hiatus, the Foo Fighters have promised a big 2011 and it looks like they're going to make do on that promise -- Sasquatch is the first U.S. festival they're confirmed for, so far, but look for that list to grow fast, as festivals begin to roll out their lineups.

And as for Sasquatch, look for their "wow" department to be working overtime in the workshop right next to Santa's -- we expect another year of crossed out wish-lists in the wake of a heavy-hitting, first-string lineup. Last year's festival sold-out in record time; discounted early-bird tickets for 2011 will go on sale this Saturday at 10AM PT, via the official Sasquatch website.
