Mott the Hoople's Ian Hunter to Play Two UK Solo Shows
Mott the Hoople frontman Ian Hunter has announced two intimate shows to take place in Edinburgh and London this May, as part of his US and European tour.
The newly-announced UK shows will take place at the Edinburgh Picture House on May 1 and at the Barbican Hall in London on May 2, and are the 'All the Young Dudes' songwriter's first solo live shows since a one-off date in London in October 2007.
Hunter -- who released his 13th solo album 'Man Overboard' last year -- also finally reformed 70s rock legends Mott the Hoople for five sell-out shows at London's Hammersmith Apollo to universal acclaim from fans and critics last year too.
The solo tour will see Hunter backed by the 10-piece Rant Band, and there are also dates in New York, New Jersey and Italy lined up to take place in this spring.
