Steve Jones Wants 'Monkey' George Bush on His Radio Show - Spinner

Sex Pistols guitarist Steve Jones has a most surprising choice for his dream guest on his beloved radio show, 'Jonesy's Jukebox.' The program, which is propelled by Jones' cult of personality and often-indecipherable Cockney accent as much as his wide-ranging music selections, has featured guests from the entire entertainment spectrum, whether it be Tobey McGuire, 'Mad Men' star Jon Hamm or Billy Corgan.

Of all the folks at his disposal, Jones said he wants to interview George Bush. When asked whether he means the elder or younger Bush, he gives an answer that ensures neither Bush will ever come on his show.

"The monkey," he told Spinner during an interview in a Park City, Utah ski lodge at Sundance last week. Jones broadcast from the Film Festival for two days to build excitement for the program. "Have you seen the new ads with Clinton and him for the relief fund for Haiti? It's hilarious. He looks like a little monkey sitting next to Clinton and he's looking at the words [scrolling] down. The guy's so stupid. I love him." He notes that he'd love to nab California governator Arnold Schwarzenegger as well.

As far as his favorite guest so far, Jones tips his hat to British legend Cliff Richard, whose music with his band the Shadows influenced a young Jones growing up in England. "We played a bunch of the songs on the show," Jones says. "You couldn't shut him up. He was great and I just love all them early songs, like the '50s songs."
