But in the wake of Carl's passing away in 1998, the other Beach Boys (Wilson cousin Mike Love and Brian's school friend Al Jardine) have hit Brian with a series of lawsuits. Perhaps they were harboring lingering soreness that the band's label was named Brother Records.
