Greetings Noise Creeps in internet land, Jason Hook here, lead axe slinger, head chopper and today's keyboard warrior from
Five Finger Death Punch here!
I have been asked to provide the latest installment of the the Trespass America tour diary, so hold on tight, grab the straps and read on.
First off, let me tell you we're all having an amazing time! I don't mean to sound cliche, it's the truth. The eight bands on this bill were rallied, captured and hand selected like the finest blue fin tuna out of Tokyo Bay. All these guys are our friends and we knew it would make a better tour when you're with your friends. We were right.
5FDP is rolling PHAT on this one, we have four tour busses, four semi's and 31 crew members. It's by far the largest show we have put together and I'm sure anyone who has seen the show can attest to that. The 1/2 million dollar video light show is so goddamn awesome to look at, I find my self staring back at it all the time. Anyway, enough about lights.
We kicked off the tour with a sold out show in Denver, real nice considering it was Ivan's home town and he had 150 people on the frigging guest list... Geez, Ivan! I find myself watching Killswitch Engage just about every night as they are one of my faves, as well as Emmure, which, if you haven't checked them out yet they're lethal. I had a long gear conversation with Jesse Keitve the other day, we're both obsessed with our equipment.
