Firewind guitarist Gus G -- who took over for longtime Ozzy Osbourne axe Zakk Wylde -- told a Florida newspaper that he's been writing a bunch of riffs and has discussed them with Ozzy. But overall, Gus said that it's still too early to figure things out, because Ozzy is still touring and focusing on the task at hand.
Gus also said that if Ozzy does ask him to return to the studio once their tour wraps in August, he hopes to emerge with "the ultimate Ozzy album -- marry the classic stuff, but with the new era." That's a good goal for Gus G to have, and we look forward to seeing what he and Osbourne do next time out.
