When it comes to being someone as controversial and well-known a figure as Lady Gaga, it's a good idea to keep some protection around.
During a recent concert appearance in Romania, the "Born This Way" singer was rushed by a rather aggressive fan. However, the stage isn't where the bum-rush occurred.
Gaga was walking through the lobby of her hotel to greet a crowd of fans when a large male supporter hurled himself at her. By looking at the video below, it appears he was simply trying to get an autograph. But his approach was certainly not well-thought out.
Regardless of his intentions, the fan was promptly body-slammed by Mother Monster's personal bodyguard. Gaga clearly flinches but still manages to proceed calmly out to the crowd gathered outside the hotel.
After the unruly fan was safely brought to the ground and detained until Lady Gaga left the building, he was kicked out of the hotel. It's safe to say he probably didn't get an autograph that day.
