British singer Mika has finally spoken out about his sexuality, revealing that he is gay.
Speaking to Instinct magazine, the "Grace Kelly" singer said he's finally come to terms with his true sexual identity.
"If you ask me am I gay, I say yeah," the 28-year-old said. "Are these songs about my relationship with a man? I say yeah. And it's only through my music that I've found the strength to come to terms with my sexuality beyond the context of just my lyrics. This is my real life."
As Huffpost Gay Voices points out, the Lebanese-born crooner has long been rumored to be gay. In 2009, Mika reportedly told a Dutch magazine that he was bisexual.
Mika's upcoming album The Origin of Love features contributions from producer Nick Littlemore and Pharrell Williams and will hit record store shelves Sept. 16. What do you think of Mika's coming-out? Tell us on Twitter @AOLMusic.
