Lady Gaga and Lindsey Lohan go way back -- or at least as far back as last month, when they had themselves quite the slumber party at L.A.'s Chateau Marmont -- and now, they may go from sleepover buds to video costars, the New York Postreports.
According to a Hollywood insider, Gaga has tapped Lohan to appear in a new music video for her upcoming ARTPOP album. The gossip comes as LiLo tries to pick up the pieces of her career and move forward after a string of personal troubles. She's got a couple of film projects in the works, including the Lifetime movie "Liz & Dick," but this would be something altogether different.
"Due to Gaga's superstar status, this would be Lindsay's biggest [role] by far in many, many years," a source told the Post.
Gaga's reps insist she's not currently filming anything, but if Mother Monster does enlist the acting services of the embattled starlet, she may leave some fans shaking their heads.
"Why this huge artist -- who could literally have anyone she wants -- chose someone currently at the bottom of the Hollywood food chain remains a mystery," one of the Post's sources said.
