Watching the Olympic opening ceremonies recently got us to thinking about this great melting pot we call the United States, and all the various ethnicities that live here. The AOL Music staff alone has family tree roots in Europe, Asia, Africa and South America! Naturally, because we write about musicians all day, we got to wondering about the ancestral lineages of our favorite stars. What we found was both interesting, and in some cases, surprising!
