When Justin Bieber graduated from high school last month, he was not too proud to admit he did it solely to please his mom. "At school, usually you have to do a lot of writing and reading. I'm really not into that stuff," he told The Telegraph. Well, one subject The Biebs must have glazed right over was Art History, which became painfully clear during his interview with "Late Show" host David Letterman.
Letterman pointed out Bieber's newest ink job, a tattoo in honor of his just-released sophomore album Believe. The veteran talk show host then urged his guest to not go overboard with his growing collection of body art. "Don't go nuts [with the tattoos] ... because more and more you see like the mural ... like the Sistine Chapel, it's too much," he warned.
Ignorant to Letterman's reference to the world-famous painted walls and ceilings of the papal residence in Vatican City, Bieber replied, "I'm not going for the Sixteenth Chapel." Of course, Letterman took the opportunity to rip Bieber a new one over that response! "Canadian high school!" he said mockingly, to the delight of the audience.
You can't win them all, Biebs.
