Pink took to her Twitter account last night (May 31) to let fans know she had been hospitalized. The singer has fallen ill with the stomach flu, but despite the sickness, she's all smiles -- as documented in the photo that accompanied her Twitter message.
"Maybe it's cause my mom was an ER nurse all my life -- but throw me in a gown and a hook me up to an IV and I'm a happy girl," Pink wrote. In the photo, the 32 year old shows off an IV drip stuck in her arm as she sits up in a hospital bed -- complete with teddy bear-print blankets! Pink grins from ear to ear as she sips from a straw. "Stomach flu sucks but morphine doesn't," she added. Well, that explains it!
After receiving a slew of messages from concerned fans -- both about the flu and her doctor's questionable choice of treatment -- the "Sober" singer provided further explanation about the painkillers. "Thanks for all the get well wishes. And no they don't give morphine for flu. I might have ulcers again. Because I care too much. It's a gift." Ulcers and the flu -- yikes! Get well soon, Pink!
