It'll take more than morbid fascination to land some California homebuyer the Holmby Hills estate where Michael Jackson died in 2009. He or she will also need some pretty deep pockets. British pop star Robbie Williams has the latter, if not the former, and as TMZ reports, he scoped out the $23.9 million mansion last week.
According to the gossip site, Williams pulled up last Thursday in his Range Rover and surveyed the 17,000-square-foot property, which Jackson had been renting from Ed Hardy CFO Hubert Guez.
Williams' reps have yet to comment on whether the singer has made an offer, but according to newspaper reports, he's worth $149 million. And it would be an easy move, since he already has a $16 million pad in nearby Beverly Hills.
As per Britain's Sun newspaper, Williams is "keen on getting his hands on" the King of Pop's final residence, but it could just be that he's drawn to the 13 bathrooms. You never can have enough.
