The racy moment has garnered much attention from across the internet, with both positive and negative reactions. Unfortunately, as is true for most "boundary pushing" acts in pop culture today, the bad comments seem to overshadow the good.

In a blog post for Entertainment Weekly, Sidibe dismisses these haters in a perfectly crafted response:

%shareLinks-quote="I, a plus sized, dark-skinned woman, had a love scene on primetime television. I had the most fun ever filming that scene even though I was nervous. But I felt sexy and beautiful and I felt like I was doing a good job." type="quote" author="Gabourey Sidibe" authordesc="Entertainment Weekly" isquoteoftheday="false"%

Sidibe continues on in her post:

%shareLinks-quote="You may have your memes. Honestly, I'm at work too busy to check Twitter anyway. #Booked. Hope you enjoy next week's show!" type="quote" author="Gabourey Sidibe" authordesc="Entertainment Weekly" isquoteoftheday="false"%

Sorry folks, looks like Sidibe can't hear your negativity because she's too busy focussing on her fabulous career.
