McDonald's employee caught on camera committing cruel act against homeless man

The internet is erupting in outrage over this video of a McDonald's worker cruel act against a homeless man.

The video, which was posted on Facebook, shows a Detroit McDonald's drive-through worker offering a reportedly homeless man a burger. When the victim approaches the window, the employee proceeds to throw water in the man's face.

In the video, you can hear the employee say, "Hey Willie, come here, you want a sandwich? I'm about to help you." But, instead of giving the man the burger in his hand, he throws the cup of water directly at the victim. You can hear the homeless man says, "why you do that?" as he walks away in the pouring rain.

This heartbreaking video raises the question of how we treat our homeless population. The Detroit McDonald's franchise owner agrees, and has released the following statement:

According to CBS News, "the man who recorded the video is a Detroiter who calls himself Skeez, and he says he regrets the posting."
